One of the Business Innovation Award (Murcia, 2009), awarded by the Instituto de Fomento (Info),  was given this year to the company Nutrafur (Furfural Español SA) for the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer disease, a project led by Drs . Julián Castillo and Obdulio Benavente-Garcia. Uno de los Premios de Innovación Empresarial de la Región de Murcia 2009, que otorga el Instituto de Fomento (Info), han recaído este año en la empresa Nutrafur (Furfural Español S.A.) para la prevención y tratamiento del Alzheimer, proyecto   dirigido por los Drs. Julián Castillo y Obdulio Benavente-García.
